Regina Yanti


Position: Researcher

Yanti was born and reared in Jambi. She completed her BA in ESL and her MA in Applied English Linguistics at Atma Jaya Catholic University, Jakarta. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in theoretical linguistics at the University of Delaware. Before going to the University of Delaware, she worked as an English teacher and as a research assistant on a child language acquisition project at the Jakarta Field Station. At present she is working on the first reference grammar of Jambi Malay and also carefully observing her son's progress towards producing a full-blown [i].

Yanti lahir besaq di Jambi. Dioq kuliah S1 dan S2 di Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya, Jakarta. Kini tu dioq kuliah S3 di Univesitas Delaware. Sebelum kuliah S3, dioq ngajar Bahaso Inggris samo jadi asisten peneliti untuq proyek bahaso anaq di Jakarta Field Station. Kini tu dioq lagi tulis buku tato bahaso Jambi samo nunggui anaqnyo ngomong bunyi [i].
