Febby was born and raised in Jakarta. She received her BA in ESL in 2003 from Atma Jaya University, the same year she joined the Field Station. In the Field Station she is assisting with Lera Boroditsky's research work. She finds psycholinguistics and morphology interesting, and phonology equally fascinating.
