Other comments: Yulu is spoken by approximately 13,000 speakers in Haute-Kotto prefecture in Central African Republic, Sudan, South Sudan, as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Yulu has a quinary /decimal system, there is a loanword from Arabic méy(ə̏) for hundred. N.B.ː j=IPA [ɟ]; y=IPA [j]; aa, ii, etc. =long vowelsː ȁ/ à / ā / á = extra-L / L / M / H tone. |
