Other comments: Yamphu has a traditional vigesimal system an the traditional number forms for 70, 80 and 90 are formed by adding 10, 20, and 30 to 60. However nowadays, Yamphu numerals after six have been replaced by Nepali. Yamphu is spoken by approximately 9,000 speakers in Sankhuwasabha district, Kosi province, Nepal. |
