Other comments: Yami
has a decimal system similar to that of languages in the Batanes islands
in the Philippines. They used a particular way to express compound
numbers 11 to 19, 21 to 29 ..., which means 'one at the 2nd stage or
step'. The above data was from the Imorod dialect of Yami. |
