Other comments: Yamdena has a decimal system. Yamdena is spoken by approximately 25,000 speakers in Tannembar islands, east coast Yamdena island, south to north tip of Selaru island, 35 villages; southwest Yamdena island, Latdalam village, Maluku province, Indonesia. There are two forms for the number 'one': sa: 'one (counting, or indefinite)', lese: one, single'. Compound numbers are constructed from the largest unit to the smallest. |
