Other comments: Xetá or Aré, Cheta, Hetá, Seta, Sheta is an extinct language. The last known speakers survived into the 1990s, out of 86 ethnic population living among the Kaingang people scattered in the States of Paraná, Santa Catarina and São Paulo, south Brazil. Xetá has only three words for numerals. Xetá is a seriously endangered language with 2 persons (1990 Ethnologue). |
