Other comments: Vaeakau-Taumako or Pileni has a decimal system, but the compound numbers are different to that of other Polynesian languages. Vaeakau-Taumako is spoken by about 1,700 speakers in Duff and Reef islands, including on Matema, Nifiloli, Nukapu, Nupani, Pileni, and Taumako, Temotu province, Solomon Islands. |
