Other comments: North Tukang-Besi has a numeral system similar to that of Buton and other Munaic languages, but there is a word 'ɡana' for number 4, which might be derived from Malay loanword 'ɡənap'. North Tukang-Besi or Buton, Wakatobi is spoken by approximately 120,000 speakers in Southeast Sulawesi province: Ambon, Bacan, Buru, Kaledupa, Maluku, Mongole, Runduma, Seram, Sulabesi, Taliabu, and Wangiwangi islands; Baubau and Sumbawa cities, as well as Maluku, Indonesia. |
