Other comments: Tuamotuan has a decimal system. The Tuamotuan traditional numerals from ten upwards have been replaced by Tahitian numerals now. Tuamotuan is spoken by about 4,000 speakers in Windward Islands: Tahiti; Tuamotu and Gambier Islands: Tuamotu, French Polynesia. |
