Other comments: Toura or Doura has a decimal system with particular substructure for numbers 6, 8 and 9, and 7 is a loanword from Polynesian language. Number 'hundred' is a loanword from Roro language. The people may use English to Tok Pisin numerals after five nowadays. Toura is spoken by about 1,800 speakers in Galley Reach area, Central province, Papua New Guinea. |
