Other comments: Torá (Toraz) is an extinct Chapacuran language that was once spoken along the lower stretches of the Marmelos River in lower Marmelos basin, in the State of Amazon in northeast Brazil. SIL reported 40 speakers in 1990 in approximately 300 ethnic group, but declared it extinct in the 2000s. Torá has only four words as numbers. |
