Other comments: Tenharim or Tenharin, Kagwahiva is spoken by approximately 360 speakers. 1 Diahói, 10 Parintintin, and 350 Tenharim. Ethnic population: 1,070 (Crevels 2012). 90 Diahói, 280 Parintintin, and 700 Tenharim (Crevels 2012), in 2 villages in Amazonas and Mato Grosso states. Tenharim has two words can be regarded as 'numbers'. |

Other comments: Tenharim or Tenharin, Kagwahiva is spoken by approximately 360 speakers in 2 villages in Amazonas and Mato Grosso states. Quite similar to the other Tupi languages, Tenharim has two words can be regarded as 'numbers', but the word for 'one' od͡ʒepɛi or od͡ʒpɛi might refer to 2 and the word 'two' mɔkɔnha could cover 2 or 3. They are using the Portuguese numbers now. Note that the [ᵐb] in 'ᵐbɔhapɨɾa' word for 'many' is a 'prenasalized b', [ʔ] in 'heʔɨi 'is a glottal stop. Tenharim is not a tonal language. |
