Other comments: Tai Nüa or Tai Dehong Dai has a decimal system similar to that of Shan, Thai and Lao. Dehong Dai number 'one' has two forms (ləŋ6, ʔet9), they are used in different ways. Tai Nüa is spoken by approximately 700,000 speakers in Liangshan autonomous prefecture, Sichuan province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefectures, Baoshan, Lincang, and Simao municipal prefectures, Yunnan province, China, as well as Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. |
