Other comments: With some differences in tones, most of the numerals of Lue /Lü/ Tai Lue are identical to those of Northern Thai, Phuan, Lao and Thai. Different from the dialect in Yunnan, Tai Lue borrowed Thai higher numbers for hundred and thousand.

 Lü or Tai Lue is spoken by 600,000 speakers in Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, 3 counties: Jinghong (Chiang Hung, Chien Rung), Menghai, and Mengla; some in Simao municipal prefecture, Jiangcheng Hani and Yi Autonomous counties, Yunnan province, China, as well as Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
