Other comments: Humburi Senni Songhay or Central Songhai has a decimal numeral system. Note that the tens for 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 are formed by 'wóy' plus the a single digit term. Humburi Senni Songhayor is tonal language spoken by about 15,000 speakers in Mali (1999 J. Heath) in Mopti region and Tombouctou region in central Mali, as well as Burkina Faso. |
