Other comments: Sie has a quinary counting system to up thousand. However, numerals beyond five have been replaced by Bislama numerals now. Sie is spoken by about 1,900 speakers (Lynch and Crowley 2001) in Erromanga island, Tafea province, Vanuatu. |
