Other comments: She has a decimal system. The above data is taken from She dialect at Chenhu village, Duozhu township, Huidong county. This dialect still retained traditional numerals up to 29, from 30 onwards, they borrowed Hakka Chinese numerals. She (shx) or Ho Nte or Huo Nte is spoken by approximately by 910 speakers (1999 Mao Zongwu). 580 Luofu, 390 Lianhua (McConnell 1995). 200 monolinguals. Ethnic population: 709,000 (2010 census) in Boluo, Haifeng, Huidong, and Zengcheng counties, Guangdong province, China. |
