Other comments: Seluwasan is spoken by approximately 3,800 speakers (740 Makatian, 2,100 Seluwasan) in some villages in Tanimbar island group on Yamdena island southwest coast., Maluku Tenggara Barat regency, Maluku province, Indonesia. Seluwasan (Wermatang dialect) may have a decimal system of counting. similar to that of Selaru. Makatian is quite different from other Seluwasan dialects. |
