Other comments: Samoan has a decimal system. However, in normal written and spoken discourse it is usual to leave out "ma le", so this gives sefulu tasi '11', sefulu lua '12', lua sefusu tasi '21' etc. Samoan is spoken by about 400,000 speakers in Samoa, American Samoa, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand. |
