Other comments: With exception of the number six, the Saek numeral system is nearly identical to Lao numeral system, Saek has a decimal system. Saek or Sek or Xaek, is a Tai language spoken approximately 3,800 - 7,000 speakers at least ten villages in Khammouane Province, Laos, and at least four villages in Nakhon Phanom Province in northeastern Thailand, just across the Mekong River. It is spoken by the Saek people. |
