Other comments: Qimant or Kimant has a decimal system but does not seem to have even the kind of pitch-accent type language. Qimant is a language in serious decline and is very heavily influenced by Amharic. The Qimant language is a highly endangered language spoken by a small and elderly fraction of the Qemant people in northern Ethiopia, mainly in the Chilga woreda in Semien Gondar Zone between Gondar and Metemma by approximately 1,000 speakers. |
