Other comments: Pauserna, also known as Warázu or Guarasugwé (Guarasú'we) is a moribund or dormant language of Bolivia and Brazil. The Guarasugwé people who live along the upper Río Guaporé (Guaporé River). Most of them live in the southeastern part of the department of Beni, in Bolivia. Only a few of the older people speak the Pauserna language and the speakers were estimated to number 125 according to a census in 2012. Pauserna has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 3 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after three to ten or now use Spanish or Portuguese numerals after three or ten. New data for numbers after three is required. |
