Other comments: Paicî has a traditional quinary-vigesimal counting system based on hands, feet and persons. For the numbers 5 to 10, 15 and 19ː strictly speaking, the wordsː ĩ is 'hand', ã is 'foot', the suffix  ᶮɟɛ attached to both means 'our', so 5 is 'one of our hands'; 15 is 'our two hands plus one of our feet'; kʌ̃ɾ̃ʌ̃ means 'of'; ᵑɡɒɾɒ means 'on top of'; ãr̃ã means 'content of'; 20 ãᵐboɾo means 'person'. Nowadays, the Paicî people used French numbers after five. Paicî is a tonal Austronesian language. Note the the symbol 'ɾ̃' is a 'nasalised flap'. Paicî is spoken by about 7,000 speakers in east coast, Poindimié and Ponérihouen; west coast, Koné, Poya, and inland valleys in North province, New Caledonia.
