Other comments: Ngiti is spoken by approximately 100,000 speakers in Ituri province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Ngiti has developed a decimal system with influenced by Bantu language. They has an alternate traditional counting from 11 up to 32. The Ngiti traditional numeral system is a four-based system ( the traditional numbers above 10 are no longer in use and no longer known by most people). Ngiti has four tonesː /à/ low, /á/ high, /a/ low-mid, /ǎ/ low-high and mid (unmarked). |
