Other comments: Nanti is an endangered language spoken by approximately 94 speakers out of 450 ethnic population in Cusco region: headwaters of Camisea and Timpia rivers, Peru. Nanti is closely related to Matsigenka and Nanti has only two words for numerals. The Nanti counting system is the same as that of the lower Urubamba variety of Matsigenka. |
