Other comments: Mpi has a decimal system. Mpi or Kaw is spoken by approximately 900 speakers out of 1,500 ethnic population in Phrae province: Mueang district, Suan Khuean sub-district; Nan province: Song Khwae district, Jod sub-district, Ban Sakoen. A few Mpi live in nearby villages to these two locations as well as in Bangkok (Krung Thep), Thailand. More completed data needed. |
