Other comments: Molima has a traditional quinary counting system up to twenty. However, nowadays, the people only keep the traditional numbers from 1 to 3. After 3, they used English numbers with phonological adaptation. Molima is spoken by about 4,000 speakers in the D'Entrecasteaux Islands of Papua New Guinea. |
