Other comments: Mokilese has a decimal system similar to that of Pingepalese and Ponapean. Note that there are four sets of numbers from 1 to 9 used with different classifiers and nouns. Mokilese is spoken by about 1,000 speakers in Mokil (Mwoakiloa) atoll, southeast of Pohnpei island, Pohnpei state, Federated States of Micronesia. |
