Other comments: Minaveha or Kukuya has a quinary counting system and a phrase for twenty 'onoto aitamoata' which means 'one man'. However, they may only keep the traditional numbers from 1 to 3 now. Minaveha is spoken by about 2,300 speakers in Fergusson Island in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea. |
