Other comments: Southern Qiandong Miao ((hms)) has a decimal system. This Miao language belongs to the Southern Guiyang group of Miao languages. Some numerals of this languages are different from that of other Miao languages. Southern Qiandong Miao. Alternates: Black Miao, Central Miao, Chientung Miao, Hei Miao, Hmu, Southern East-Guizhou Miao, Southern Hmu), is spoken by approximately 500,000 speakers (Wang and Mao 1995) in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region: Rongshui and Sanjiang counties; Guizhou province: Danzhai, Libo, Rongjiang Congjiang, and Sandu counties, China. |
