Other comments: Mandara or Tabar has a quinary numeral system. Note that the number 'five' napaririem is derived from 'half hand'. Mandara or Tabar is spoken by about 4,000 speakers in central district and Tabar islands of New Ireland province, Papua New Guinea. |
