Other comments: Mambae or Mambai has a base (quinternary) number system. Mambae is spoken by approximately 190,000 speakers in Aileu, Ainaro, and Ermera districts: central Timor mountains as well as Bobonaro, Dili, and Liquiçá districts, south coast, East Timor. |
