Other comments: Lugbara, or Lugbarati, is the language of the Lugbara people. It is spoken by approximately 2,000,000 speakers in the West Nile region in northwestern Uganda, as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Orientale Province. Lugbara or Lugbarati has a decimal system identical to that of Kaliko. The number 1000 'élɪ̀fù' is a loanword from Swahili / Arabic. |
