Other comments: The Logo language, also known as Logoti, has an estimated 210,000 speakers spoken in Haut-Uele province of DRC. A further 100,000 speak the related dialect known as Ogambi. Logoti is similar in derivation to the Nilotic Kaliko, Bari and Lugbara languages spoken in the same region, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Logo has a vigesimal system. There is a loanword from Bangala, a Bantu language, for the numbers 100 .kama'. |
