Other comments: Kuri or Nabi has a quinary system of counting similar to Irahutu. Maybe the people only keep the traditional numbers 1 to 10, or twenty now. The second set of numbers 1 to 10 were provided from old Dutch source by SIL linguist Mrs. Heljä Clouse in 1993. Kuri is an Austronesian language spoken by about 500 speakers in 16 villages in southwest Bomberai peninsula, Teluk Bintuni regency, West Papua province. Indonesia, |
