Other comments: Kukama-Kukamiria or Cocama-Cocamila is an endangered language spoken by approximately 250 speakers in Peru out of 11,300 ethnic population in Loreto region: Huallaga, lower Marañon, and northeast lower Ucayali rivers’ area, Peru as well as Brazil and Colombia. Kukama-Kukamiria or Cocama-Cocamila has four traditional Tupi numerals after four they used a counting mixing with indigenous terms and Quechua loanwords. |
