Other comments: Koreguaje or Coreguaja, Coreguaje, Koʼrehuajʉ chʉʼo is spoken by approximately 2,100 speakers in 3,200 ethnic population in Caqueta department: Caquetá and Orteguaza rivers and tributaries; Putumayo department: Puerto Guzman municipality, Comobia. Koreguaje also spoken by nearby Inga, Witoto, Carijona, and Tama tribes. The people Koreguaje has a traditional counting goes up to 10. They borrowed Spanish, but not borrowed the number 'one', with a suffix 'paɲoã'. the symbols in the parentheses ( ) on Spanish numbers are not pronounced. |
