Other comments: Highland Konjo has a decimal numeral system very similar to that of the Coastal Konjo. The number 'seven' is a Malay loanword. Highland Konjo is spoken by approximately 68,000 speakers in South Sulawesi province: Bone, Bulukumba, Gowa, and Sinjai regencies, south peninsula interior; Mount Lompobatang area northwest, past Makassar city, Indonesia. |
