Other comments: Kalokalo or Koluwawa has a quinary counting system up to twenty and a word for twenty ''to'ebeweu'' as recorded in Glen A. Lean's book in 1990. However, nowadays, the Koluwawa people only keep the traditional numbers from 1 to 5. After 5, they used English numbers with phonological adaptation. Koluwawa is spoken by about 900 speakers on Fergusson Island in Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea. |
