Other comments: Koch has a decimal system. The above data was taken from Wanang dialect of Koch language. The Koch people are still using their traditional numerals, but there is a loanword for thousand 'hɑk̚dʒɑɾ'. There are no tones found in the Wanang dialect. Koch is spoken by approximately 40,000 speakers in Assam, Bihar, Meghalaya, Tripura, and West Bengal states, India. |
