Other comments: With exception for numbers 100 and 1000, the numerals of Khamti are identical to those of Lao and Thai. Khamti is spoken by approximately 13,000 speakers in Putao district and Myitkyina area, Sagaing region, Kachin state, Myanmar as well as Assam state, India.
