Other comments: Kakwa or Kakuwa is spoken by approximately 180,000 speakers in north-western Uganda, south-western South Sudan, and north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly to the west of the White Nile river. Kakwa has a decimal system with an original five-base substructure similar to that of Bari. Kakwa has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Swahili or Sudanese Arabic numerals after five or ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
