Other comments: Kakabai might have a traditional binary counting system. Now most of the people preference is to use English numbers. The simple numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 may still be used now. Kakabai is spoken by about 900 speakers in Alotau district, Milne Bay province, Papua eastern tip. |
