Other comments: Hruso Aka has a decimal numeral system. The numerals above ten are compounded by mathematical operations of multiplication and addition. Morphologically, prefix fu- means ‘hundred’ and fuɣa ‘one hundred’, can be seen as the highest number and numerals beyond this are built with fu- prefixed to the multiplier. The numerals bɨʃa ‘twenty’ and hazaɣa ‘thousand’ are Indic loan words.Hruso is spoken in southern area of Kameng district Arunachal Pradesh, India. |
