Other comments: Hawu or Sabu or Savu has a decimal system of counting similar to that of Ndao (Dhao). Note that there are long ( germinated ) consonants ( t͡ːʃ, mː, nː and lː ). Hawu is spoken by approximately 110,000 speakers in Raijua and Sawu islands, East Nusa Tenggara province as well as Sumba island and Timor island, East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. |
