Other commentsː Habun has a decimal system similar to Tetun. Dr. Geoffrey Hull said it is an archaic form of Tetun. Reportedly many loanwords from Trans-New Guinea languages similar to Makasae, but with Austronesian structure. Habun or Sabu is spoken by approximately 4,000 speakers in Laclubar subdistrict, Manatuto district, East Timor. |
