Other comments: Gorakor, like most of Austronesian languages in Morobe province, has a digit-tally counting system up to twenty. Generally only numbers 1-5 and 10 are regularly used now, for the other numbers words are commonly borrowed from Tok Pisin and English. Gorakor is spoken by about 2,400 speakers in Mumeng district, Morobe province, Papua New Guinea. |
