Other comments: Garre has a decimal system of counting nearly identical with Somali, Garre sometime is regarded as a dialect of Somali. Garre (also known as Af-Garre) is a Cushitic language spoken by the Garre people inhabiting southern Somalia, Ethiopia and northern Kenya by approximately 2.5 million speakers. Garre language is readily intelligible to Digil speaker as it has some affinity with Af-Maay and Af-Boon. |
