Wangdue Phodrang, Punakha, Thimphu, Gasa, Paro, Ha, Dagana and Chukha). There are also some native speakers near the Indian town of Kalimpong, once part of Bhutan but now in North Bengal. Dzhongkh or Bhotia of Bhutan, Bhotia of Dukpa, Bhutanese, Drukha, Drukke, Dukpa, Jonkha, Zongkhar is spoken by approximately 320,000 speakers in Haa, Paro, Punakha, and Wangdue Phodrang districts, Bhudan as well as India. |
